America,do you see the suffering of this child. Stop the horrors in Iraq. If you have only read the suffering of a sixth grade girl in the middle of the war. You will understand that hundreds are being killed for America's greed. I hope that with the reign of a new president, these horrors will subside. So please America, stop it. One of the things I think is most important to realize about Sunshine is that amidst the trumoil and horror in which she lives, also lives an amazing young spirit.
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine having your home bombed, your neighbours under constand threat and yet, she gets 98% in her classes. How many of us could show the strength and dedication to making ourselves better through our education with that happening?
Sunshine inspires me to be a better person; to be aware of the world around me and to speak out and to share her story. It is because of the hope I have for the world with more "Sunshines" in it, that I chose to share her amazing life with you and your readers.
